Welcome to the website of the sixth edition of the 3 days of orienteering "Easter in Alsace", organised for the third time by the Orienteering Club of Mulhouse, France, in 2015.

Today, you are 1382 registred for the 3 jours and 627 for the prologue. 15 nationalities are represented.

To facilitate your arrival, please check your registration's information on www.orienteeringonline.net , especially the number of your Sport Ident chip.
Reminder: the H 21E and D 21E runners must have an IOF ID to be ranked for the WRE at stage 2.

D16B, H16B, D18B andH18B :  given the very low number of registered, these categories will not be rewarded.
Individuals registred in these categories may change if they wish.

For motorhomes, camping "Les Acacias" located close to the event center will be open during the period of 3 days. Attention limited places (about 30)

The Sundgau

Altkirch and Egglingen, where the competitions will be held, are located in the region of Sundgau in southern Alsace on the eastern edge of France. The hilly region is covered with pine, beech and oak woods, orchards, pastures, fields and ponds, dotted with a multitude of villages. Altkirch, with approximately 6000 inhabitants, is the principal city and historical capital of Sungau. The closest larger cities are Mulhouse in France about 20 km northeast, Basel in Switzerland about 30 km southeast, and Belfort in France about 40 km northwest.

Accommodation

In Altkirch, there are a few hotels and bed and breakfasts (gites). It is also possible to find accommodation, mainly bed and breakfast in the surrounding area. There is a search engine for local accommodation on the website of the Sungau tourist information office on http://www.sundgau-sudalsace.fr.

If you would rather stay in one of the larger cities nearby, there is a multitude of options in all price ranges. Below find the links to the tourist information offices in these cities:

Camper vans: The campsite “Les Acacias” located close to the competition center will be open. The number of spaces are limited, however (approximately 30).

New deadline for entries

Because of the late publication of our competition in the IOF WRE calendar, as well as problems encountered by some people to register on OrienteeringOnline.net, we have decided to postpone first registration deadline to 15 January.

Online Entries

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE : you need to create an account for your club on http://www.orienteeringonline.net. After logging in, you'll be able to enter your participants and manage the information. In case you encounter any problems, please contact us on . You can find all information about entry fees under "Invitation".

Last date to register on orienteeringonline.net is March 22. After this date registrations will only be accepted by email provided that there are still places available. In order to avoid any errors, we would appreciate if you could verify your SportIdent number on orienteeringonline.net. Due to the low number of registrated runners in HD16B and HD18B, these classes will not be awarded.

PLEASE NOTE:Under French law n 99-223 relating to the health protection of athletes and the prevention of doping, adopted by the National Assembly on March 23rd 1999, all French and foreign athletes are required to demonstrate that their general level of health is sufficient to allow their participation in a competitive orienteering event, by presenting a "medical certificate of no contraindication" delivered by a medical doctor after a medical examination.
